This Privacy Policy explains how Arcadizu (operating the arcadizu.com platform) ("Arcadizu", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal data when you visit our websites, play games, create a player or developer account, or otherwise use our platform (the "Platform"). Please read it carefully together with our Terms of Service.

1. Who we are

Arcadizu is a free browser-games platform where you can discover and play HTML5 games, and where developers can publish titles and participate in the Creator Program.

Contact for privacy requests: privacy@arcadizu.com.

Company registration details (legal name, registered address, and company number) will be listed here once finalized. Until then, treat the contact emails above as the official channel for privacy and legal notices.

2. What is personal data?

Personal data is any information that identifies you or can be linked to you — for example an email address, username, IP address, or gameplay history tied to your account.

We recommend not using your real name or sharing other personal details inside games, chat, or public profiles.

3. Whose data we collect

We may process personal data from:

  • Visitors and players on the Platform (with or without an account)
  • Registered account holders
  • Game developers and Creator Program participants
  • People who contact us by email or forms

The Platform is intended for users aged 13 or older (or the higher minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it where required.

4. What we process and why

Depending on how you use Arcadizu, we may process:

  • Account data — email, username, password hash (via our auth provider), optional profile fields. Basis: contract and/or consent when you register.
  • Gameplay & progress — games played, saves, favorites, achievements, referral attribution. Basis: contract / legitimate interest to operate and improve the Platform.
  • Developer data — studio details, payout preferences, tax identifiers you submit, upload metadata. Basis: contract for the Creator Program.
  • Technical data — IP address, device/browser type, approximate location derived from IP, logs for security and abuse prevention. Basis: legitimate interest / legal obligation.
  • Advertising & analytics — cookie and advertising identifiers, consented measurement events. Basis: consent via our Privacy Manager (CMP), which you can change anytime.
  • Support messages — content you send us. Basis: legitimate interest to respond.

5. Advertising and personalisation

Arcadizu is free and ad-supported. We display ads primarily through Google AdSense. If you accept personalised advertising in the Privacy Manager, we and Google may use limited identifiers (such as cookie / device signals and IP address) to select more relevant ads and measure performance.

If you decline personalised ads, you may still see contextual or non-personalised ads where available. It is not possible to use the free Platform with zero advertising inventory.

You can reopen choices anytime via Privacy Preferences in the site footer.

6. Sharing with others

We share personal data only as needed to run the Platform:

  • Service providers — hosting, database/auth, email, analytics, and advertising partners acting under contracts and instructions.
  • Game developers — anonymised or aggregated play statistics for their titles; limited data needed for payouts or abuse review when contractually required.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, to protect rights, or to investigate fraud/abuse.

Current key partners include:

International transfers may occur (for example to the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.

7. Retention

We keep account and linked data while your account remains active, or longer when needed for legal claims, fraud prevention, or statutory retention. Inactive accounts may be deleted or anonymised after a long period of inactivity. Server logs are rotated on a shorter schedule. Advertising and analytics retention follows each partner's settings and your consent state.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (access controls, encrypted transport, least-privilege access). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; please use a strong unique password and protect your credentials.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example EEA/UK or certain US states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority.

Email privacy@arcadizu.com to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We aim to reply within one month.

US residents may have additional rights regarding sale/sharing of personal information and targeted advertising. Arcadizu does not sell personal information as a standalone product; certain ad-tech sharing may be considered a "sale" or "share" under some state laws. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Privacy Preferences.

10. Third-party games and links

Games may be hosted by Arcadizu or loaded from developer / partner environments. Third-party sites and some game embeds have their own privacy practices. This Policy covers processing by Arcadizu as controller of the Platform, not every third-party game publisher.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be announced on the Platform or by email if you have an account.

Cookie Notice

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDKs. We use them to keep you signed in, secure the Platform, remember preferences, measure usage, and — with your consent — support advertising.

Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — authentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention. These do not require consent.
  • Preferences — theme, language, and similar UX choices when you allow device storage.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (only after consent).
  • Advertising — Google AdSense and related tags (only after consent for the relevant purposes in Privacy Manager).

Manage choices in the Privacy Manager (first visit, or Privacy Preferences in the footer). You can also clear cookies in your browser; doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.
